Does your car have power door locks? If the car does not have factory power door locks then you cannot get the factory keyless entry system for the car. If you have power door locks then the Honda dealers have an available accessory kit to add the keyless entry to the car. It is a plug in kit that includes the keyless entry controller and the keyless remotes and requires no modifications to install as it is the same as the factory installed product on the EX and LX of that year. I had the accessory kit installed on my daughters 2003 LX and it looks and works the same as the factory installed version. My wife's 2005 LX Coupe came with the keyless entry standard, so I think the answer to my first question will be that you don't have power door locks.if you don't have the factory power door locks then your only option will be to have power door locks installed and a keyless entry system added. this can only be done using aftermarket (non-Honda) parts. There are companies that do this for dealers or you can shop around at your neighborhood stereo stores that do stereo and car alarm installations; most of them will also do power door locks and keyless installations. Their keyless installations usually include an alarm system as well. Most of the big box stores such as Best Buy or Circuit City do the alarms but not the door locks, so try the independents in your area if you have manual door locks.Hope that answers your questions.
