Sounds like you are talking about the older version of the RSX. I would take the Civic.

It is a matter of personal opinion about which one is better or not. If your comparing an integra type R to a standard civic ex then yeah the type R takes the cake in my opinion for obvious reasons. If your just comparing stock for stock then its only a matter of personal opinion. The only thing that I can think of that the civic dosent have is that the integra was offered in the type R version in america and the civic type r wasnt. It a matter of personal opinion, I would prefer the EM1 99-00 Civic Si and the DC2 Integra Type R so I guess that means I like em both.

It is a personal & finanical preferance really, both are great motors. I'd personally recomand a civic SiR or an integra type R. manual of course. the civic SiR is the same as a civic type R without the weight reduction, so will have AC and all. the integra type R was the best handling front wheel drive car on the road for years. I currently have a civic and plan on purchasing an intergra type R next year hopefully.
