The mpg is the same. I have worked on Honda's, no matter what year you buy, it is a great choice! In my opinion, it is a good car. If it is mpg that you are concerned about, check out my site at; www.williamson.my ffi.biz

Don't buy a Honda. The Civic looks like an egg. Take a look at the Ford Fusion. Very nice car, great price, excellent ratings. Blows a Civic out of the water.

They are the same. The only differences are a color change or two and the addition of the 4 door Si model. It was only available in a 2 door the year before.Hondas run in almost religious 5 year cycles. The 2006 was the last change. Next one will be in 2011.They sometimes as a Special Edition Trim in the last year or two of the cycle

For 2006, Honda completely redesigned the Civic giving it a more athletic, curvier look. In many countries (USA, UK, New Zealand), all models (including the base model) come standard with ABS and side and curtain airbags. Additionally, the 2006 models acquired ULEV-2 (Ultra Low Emission Vehicle) certification and boast a more powerful 1.8 liter engine than the 2005 counterparts while retaining almost equal fuel economy. In the North American market, the sedan, coupe, coupe Si, and Hybrid models are available. An Si sedan began manufacture for the 2007 model year. The sedan and coupe are available in three trims (DX, LX, EX); however, the Civic Si and Hybrid are sold with relatively few options (such as a navigation system, automatic day/night compass mirrors, and wheel locks). They are the same. The only differences are a color change or two and the addition of the 4 door Si model. It was only available in a 2 door the year before.

forget mary a's answer. the civic is a great car. now, the only difference between an '06 and '07 will be the price. if it hasn't been wrecked or beaten it will give you great mileage and reilability.
