Default 2004 Accord--CD faceplate is no longer lit

It's not the interior light dimmer. The LED seems to be very faint--I can just barely read the clock, radio frequency, CD info, etc. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem. Anybody? I'm hinking the display is kaput and will require a replacement.
