Default I have a 5 speed 88 prelude and it goes hard into first and sometimes 2nd why does it do it?...

...Is it a clutch? Help i dont want to hurt my car i love it to much

most likely its the clutch it could also be the slave cylinder

most likely it is a problem with your tranny, if its a 88 drive it till it no longer works at all then buy a rebuilt/ remanufactured one, a used one will most likely have the same problem
