...the key out...? of the ignition? When I take the key out at night, it's pitch black on the interior - even when I open my driver's side door. Is there a way to change this? I don't like it at all... I thought one of the interior map lights would come on. Ideally, I'd like my interior lights to come on when I unlock my door as well. Any info? I've looked through the manual and on honda.com and no solutions!as for the options on the light, there are none on the actual light itself (on/off/door), unfortunately!

Try looking for a button by the dome light. Most cars have them and have different settings, Off/Door/On. If you open the other doors, does it activate the lights? If so then a faulty door switch is the culprit.

im thining theres a switch onthe dash of your pilot that controls that...they should come on at least when u open the door.... heres what u do open the dr door and turn the key on and see if on your dash it shows that your dr door is open...if it dont then u probably have a bad door pin switch...if not u have other problems and need to get it checked
