does a 1998 honda civic front end fit on a 1999 civic?

They 1999 civic has a different front end, but the 1998 civic front end if the exact same size. The only difference is that the 99 has those two openings on the sides. It will work.

The correct answer is that it SHOULD, but here's the easiest way to check for sure. Call your local junk yard/used parts dealer. They have a reference book (or computer data base) that will tell you exactly which body parts are interchangeable between the two years. Unless I am mistaken, it should bolt up with no modifications needed. Hope this info helps you out.

yea it will fit perfectly.... 96-98 Front end's fit perfectly to 99-00 civics... and if u want to give ur 98 a 99-00 look u do the front end swap, then get 50-50 tail lights(50-50 tail lights being red on top (brake light) white on bottom(blinker and reverse), compared to red on top, yellow blinker, white reverse)
