The correct answer is that it SHOULD, but here's the easiest way to check for sure. Call your local junk yard/used parts dealer. They have a reference book (or computer data base) that will tell you exactly which body parts are interchangeable between the two years. Unless I am mistaken, it should bolt up with no modifications needed. Hope this info helps you out.

yea it will fit perfectly.... 96-98 Front end's fit perfectly to 99-00 civics... and if u want to give ur 98 a 99-00 look u do the front end swap, then get 50-50 tail lights(50-50 tail lights being red on top (brake light) white on bottom(blinker and reverse), compared to red on top, yellow blinker, white reverse)
