Default Honda civic Suspension nuts and bolts price?

Hi, Some of my rear suspension nuts and bolt are almost stripped and rusted to bits so naturally i wana replace them. After asking for some prices from my nearest honda dealer it turns out for about 16 bolts and 4 nuts its about £100.This to me is completely a rip off. they charge on avg £6 a bolt and £2 a bolt? Is this about the correct pricing or is this person im dealign with at honda making some profit himself? Also is there a place where i can order these from or do all garages just get them from the honda dealer.

The nuts and bolts should be bulk automotive hardware available through any auto parts supplier. the key is that you use graded bolts that are rated for the same strength as the originals. the bolts will generally have stampings on the head that indicate the grade of the bolts. you can buy an inexpensive thread gauge to give you the thread count and pitch as well as the diameter of the bolts. If your honda dealer won't or can't (they may honestly just know part numbers and not sizes) tell you the sizes, then you'll have to measure them and the parts supplier will be able to tell you how to decipher the markings on the bolt heads for the grade.I can assure you that the Honda dealer 1) is not trying to rip you off and 2) it will cost about 2-3 times more at the Honda Dealer than buying bulk through a parts supplier. The price difference is that the Honda dealer has to order through the Honda distributor and that each of the nuts and bolts has to be individually packaged, inventoried and shipped. There are too many more hands touching the Honda parts so there is three times the cost in doing that than in walking over to a bulk drawer to pull a few nuts and bolts out. If you don't have a local parts store that has the bolts in stock they can probably order them or you can order them over the internet through any of the auto parts distributors as long as you know the size and grade of the bolts.Hope that answers your questions
