well if you have a full core radiator ( occupies 90% of the space between your headlights ), i'd suggest switching to an aftermarket thin profile dual electric fan. If you have a half-cut radiator I would have to say that a stock fan should work with minor 'convincing'. GL on the swap, h22a coupes run hard.

Mike B is right dude, if your using your stock Civic Half core radiator your fan should get in there you might have to trim the shroud or try installing it already bolted onto your radiator. If all else fails try FAL radiator fans they bolt up and already have a connector that'll clip into your honda harness and they pull more cfm than stock. The only down side is they're a little expensive. I dont know of any OEM fans that are thinner tho. Good luck.

he whats up this is josh, i am going to be swapping an h22 into my 97 civic ex. I have heard that i may need to get some custom headers due to clearance issues, did you have to do anything like that and can you give me some info on what kinda of problems you ran into. It would be a big help. Thanks.
