you go to a ref and he will make sure your new engine has all the emission components that it is supposed to have then he will make a new emissions label for your vehicle. after that you will be good to go. this is the only way to do it legally. smog refs are all over the place not just fullerton. they usually have stations at junior colleges that have automotive programs.

Yeah you need to get it ref that's the only way. The other way is illegally. REF only cost about 300 one time charge and after that it's just regular charge for smog check.

I would think you just need to take it to a liscensed smog location and get a standard smog check done on it. As long as it passes emissions and it should be fine.
