i have a stock d15b2 and it blew but the stock tranny is cool should i do the full swap or just the motori get the everything(motor,tranny,ecu etc for 1000 and the motor alone i get for 500 what is a better investment

dude, if your tranny is good why waste the money on it! Go ahead and upgrade on other parts.

The better investment is to go on honda-tech.com, search for classified in your area, and pick up a vtec d series engine for 2,3,400 bucks....and thats a direct bolt on...you wont need new axles, mounts, or anything. you can grab an ecu for chea too....I definitly suggestion you become part of honda-tech.com's community and purchase parts from there, because they are a dime a dozen and people just have stuff laying around. If the tranny is still good might as well just swap the engine becasue if do everything that's just a waste of money and you'd probably end up throwing away a good tranny.
