I have a 1991 honda prelude si and the low beams quit now only high beams work?

the obvious question is if the headlamp bulbs are both burnt out. I've seen it very often where cars are driven with one headlamp out forever and its not until the second bulb burns out that the owner realizes they have no headlights. If the bulbs are good, then look to the headlamp relay as the cause of your problemThe headlamp relay is in the underhood fuse box. You have two relays for the headlamps; on is for the headlight system and the other for the high beams. if the high beam 'dimmer' relay goes out it opens the circuit for the low beams. my guess is that's where the problem is.there are two separate fuses for the headlamps; one for the left side and one for the right side. the chances of blowing both fuses are very small.hope that helps

It is possible that both lights have gone out but you need to check the multifunction switch also.

those have a low and high relay under the hood in the power module (the black box next to the battery) just switch them and see if that fixes the low beams if not your low beams have burnt out and need to replace them.
