im thinking of geting a short shifter fo my 2000 accord. i have a stock cultch and fly whell and dont plan on upgrading them would a short sifter still be worth it. also im not exsgtly shure what to buy, i just what sumting to make my shifts a litl smother im not lookin to spend a lot. thanxps. plase be kind speling is not my strangth

you have a really short shifter

I have a 99 Accord 5 speed and been through one short shifter already. I suggest that you stay away from DC Sports or other 2 piece short shifters. My old DC Sports shifter got stuck when I was trying to take off (not racing) so I had to pull it back really hard and be very gentle with to get home. I currently have a neuspeed short shifter that I've been using for several years and it works great. Its only one piece and there is very little play.
