How do I disable the entry alarm on my '00 Civic Si?
It is the factory entry alarm (or w/e its called) that makes the horn beep when locking and unlocking the doors. It also goes off if I pop the trunk (after unlocking via remote) and take too long putting my groceries in. Can anyone help reduce the amount of public embarrassment I am enduring?

I don't know about disabling the alarm, but I might be able to help ease embarassment. I had a '96 Civic that had the same problem and I found that, at least when opening the trunk, I had to make sure that the car doors were unlocked first.

Try looking in your owners manual or calling the dealer.
