Default How far can I go when the gas light turns on? ('91 Honda Accord)?
I have a 1991 Honda Accord and my gas light has turned on. I'm at school right now, and I'm sure I have enough to get to the gas station. The problem is that I also have to get to the bank to deposit a check so that I can buy gas.Do I have enough gas to get to the bank and the gas station.

1-2 gallons; 24-50 miles if you drive with a light foot

i could go 40+ miles on my 91 accord. You can easily go to the bank and then the gas station if your light just turned on, and if it's not broken.

it is usually about 30 miles to runout

All cars are different, but on the average, about 10 miles.

It's your car--no one knows this.I know that when my (2001 Grand AM) empty light comes on, I have 30 miles to go wherever I need.You should know your car.

Yeah, you probably have at least a gallon of gas left, which will probably get you at least 20 miles.

Usually there is a reserve tank which can take you maybe a few more km's (10-20) before you go out on empty. This is not advised as it wrecks your fuel pumps and injectors.
