do i fix? My tank said that it was empty so i filled it up at the gas station and the gas pmp stopped and said my tank was full at only 10$. When i started my car up, the guage said there was only 1/4 a tank. I just bought the car, could it have been sitting too long??

That could;d be a couple things, one being a pin hole in your float that measures the amount of fuel, second being you could have a faulty sending unit, or perhaps it is a fuse. You'll most likely need to get a Chiltons book and read up on it to see what and how to check.

1995 and 96 accord models, have a problem with the sending unit, mine never shows full even when it is.

The problem is your fuel sending unit that is located in the tank next to your fuel pump. It is common with these year accords.
