Default Thinking of buying a 2005 /2006 Honda Civic Type R - any known problems with these?

Hi, thinking of getting rid of my Renault Megane and move to something a bit more sporty and fun. Test driven a 2006 Type R and really taken with it. Obviously had a few problems with the Megane, electrics and stuff, just wondering what the common problems are with the Type R (if any)?

The Type R (Racing) Series of Honda's Civic are the high-end ones. Usually they come with all power, B-series engines, full electronic controls. If your getting a second hand make sure the previous owner did not tamper it or it was involved in a collision. I have a Honda Civic EG Hatch 1994 Sir II and it is great! Properly maintained it and I have two (2) loyal buyers waiting for me to sell. I could not sell it because I am still having so much fun with it. I usually get an inquiry if I'm selling it. This is a good car made by a motorcycle company who knows how to drive with fun. Good luck and hope I helped a little. Cheers!
