Can a regular B-Series swap be made on a 2001-2002 honda civic LX Coupe?

Well... yes this could be done (any swap can be done with enough money you could put a small V6 in your Civic or a SR20DET). Now on the other hand I would ask why? Why would you want to put a B-Series in a 01+ Civic? The engine you should be wanting to put in your car would be a K-Series swap. Hasport makes a full kit to put a K-Series motor in your LX Coupe.My opinion if you want power that dominates a B20 V-tech swap... get a K24 and then get a head from a Type-S K20 and you will have a monster that will out due any B-Series... and you can turbo on top of that for even more power!

hey jay. its "not v-tech" dude. its vtec.that just shows how much you know.............. its not worth the swap for a B series to a newer model.modification would be pointless for the little extra hp you get. you are better of with a K in it. its more expencive but its way worth the money. K's have more potential than the B's, (not that they dont have potential). but K's are expencive. just get like an older civic thats obd1 or 2 and swap a B series in if you want one so bad
