Default WHICH USED CAR to BUY VW PASSAT OR ACURA INTEGRA or HONDA PRELUDE?

Hey y'allI need some help deciding which car to buy, VW PASSAT OR ACURA INTEGRA. I really wanted to buy Integra but its hard to find one thats not been raced or in a good condition at a reasonable price. The same is true with Honda Prelude. My budget is around $8000.

You can never go wrong with the prelude. Honda's are one of the best cars out there. You need to spend more time looking if you don't want a car that's been raced. Prelude

The V-dub is the biggest, and the most comfortable. The Prelude is a tiny piece of crap, and the Integra is not much better. The VW is big, comfortable, and is probably available for under $8,000.

I am a proud owner of a 1994 Prelude Vtech. As with most Hondas, almost every aspect of the Prelude is intuitive; your going to enjoy the ease of every feature in the car. In my experience, and in others, VWs are a maintenance nightmare, little things that aren't suppose to break, do break. The Hondas and Acuras (Acura being owned by Honda) are going to be more easily serviceable and have a better reputation as road warriors. If I were you, I'd cut the Passat out of the picture and decide between the Prelude and the Integra. Of course being an owner of a Prelude, I'm very bias and have to say get the Prelude. It's a perfect car in my mind for my daily activities, but you have to decide what will be ideal for your life. If you go with the Prelude, I can guarantee that you will love it.

When a VW breaks, it breaks expensive! If you look at any reliability survey you will see that Honda is the tops while VW is really bad! As for Prelude or Intgra.......they are such similar cars I think it is the one that you get the best deal on, both are limited supply, both sold about the same numbers, the Prelude was a little more expensive new, but you are right to find one is tough! My recommendation is to buy a 4-5k prelude and spend 3-4k fixing it up!

Honda or Acura. My aunt has a 2004 VW Beetle and she loves it but it is constantly in the shop. Honda makes Acura so they would be the best ones to consider. If i were in this situation i would take the Prelude better styling than the acura. If you want more of the luxery go with the Acura. But i would still recommend the Honda. =]
