I just bought this car and sometimes it cranks and sometimes it doesn't . It's like it's not getting any fire. Any clue at all?

is the Key light flashing? A car may not start for many reasons. Did the car die while driving ? did you park it and then no start? If it cranks then sometimes does not maybe the battery is bad? or out of fuel? sometimes when cars sit for long periods of time in country areas rodents eat the wires under the hood.

Lost the key.Or no fuel.Or the mice ate the insulation off some wires.Or battery terminals are corroded...most likely answer. Get them cleaned at Sears or Firestone or PEP Boys.
