Need more specific on your question as in which country you are buying this Honda Civic ..... For example, in Singapore, this car will cost about SGD 80 to 85 grand. I would pay 50% downpayment and the rest loan. If buying this car for example in the USA, the 50% downpayment that I pay in Singapore can let me pay lump sum in USA without the need to take any loan.

If you have a good credit score you'd be paying about $359 a month. I traded in my navigator which covered the total price + left me with left over money so I dont know how much you'd be putting on a down payment. My guess is $3000-4500.

It's all a matter of math. The Civic Si is roughly $20,000. You want to figure your paymen being $200 per month for every $10,000 borrowed. So with no money down, your payment is going to roughly be $400 per month depending on taxes, Documentation fees, etc.
