it all depends on how many/what kind of performance mods you have done to it (if any are done), if it is completely bone stock you should get around 35 MPG

How do we know? You are the one driving the car. You should have some idea of the mileage you are getting.

I keep track of my cars gas mileage - I get about 38 miles/gallon or about 418 miles if you go into fuel reserve. I don't know about the newer civics, but my car has an 11 gallon tank and is a manual, so thats how mine converts. To figure out your mileage, just set the trip odometer when you put in a new tank of gas OR record your starting mileage after a fill up and then your mileage when you fill up again and amount of gas you put in. Subtract your second mileage number from the first and divide by the amount of gas you put in - that will give you an average of how many miles a gallon will take you.

I have a 2000 civic ex coupe that is completely stock with a 5-speed manual transmission and i get between 35-40mpg. With an automatic the fuel econemy will be slightly worse. When i drove up from florida to rhode island with my car loaded to the max with all my junk, i ended up spending about $120 for the 1500 mile trip.Using crusie control on flat highway areas is a good way to improve fuel economy as well. Just dont use cruise control on hills, it wastes gas.
