Default had my windows on new honda accord tinted. I don't like it. Can I have it removed w/o

damaging windows? It's within the legal limit. I'm just sorry I did it. The place I had it done said that it would be hard to get the glue off and they've never had a request to do this before. It's the first new car I've had in 20 years and I don't want to ruin the windows. I'd sure appreciate anybody's help.

I got a ticket last year and had to remove mine.(factory tint on 6 year old car. How did I know?)Just start peeling at the edge on a warm, sunny day (or use a hair dryer.) Windex with ammonia and a non abrasive scrubbing sponge will remove the glue after the plastic is gone. Just let it set a few minutes. It will take about an hour for two windows. It looked fine when done.

Have no fearSpray a solution of Dawn detergent and water on the tint, then spread a black garbage bag,(that has been wetted with the solution),on to the tint.Let it sit in the sun for about 30 minutes and the tint will peel right off....Voila!Use Windex to remove the remaining adhesive.
