The HF stood for "high fuel" and was tuned to maximize gas mileage. The Si was the performance model, and the DX was the base model. The DX not only was cheapest, but it had a low content option list. I generally am not interested in base models because they tend to be slow and spartan. On the other hand, the HF *could* be slow, but at least it got better mileage than the DX. If I recall correctly, the HF had the best economy for its time of any gas-powered cars in America. And the CRX is a neat little rollerskate.
