piece of cake, the clock pops out by prying behind the face where the clock ends ane the vent starts,i use a small hook commonly found i a pick set, once the clock is removed unplug it,then with a small screwdriver on the back you will see the socke, give it a quarter turn, out it comes, replace it in reverse order, good luck

I have a 1999 Accord, but the interior features are the same. My clock light went out and I just took it to the dealership. They only charged me $20 and they did it for me in like 5 minutes. It was well worth the money to have it done by them. If you don't pry the faceplate off properly, it will look missaligned forever, but if they do it wrong, they will have to fix it for you!
