The car seems to be almost bucking when first shifting into gears. There is also a creeking noise coming from the wheel base, sounds like, anyways.

maybe you sensors are screwed up

The check engine light could be your oil level is low, like quite low. I would get it changed + new oil filter really quick. The creeking noise from the wheel base could be the brake pads worn out & scraping on the rotor. This is just a possibility, but if it is that, it is NOT good. It could be bad shocks & struts, ball joints. I would say your front end needs to be checked out.

look all you need to do is go to a honda garage, they have a little computer they plug in and they`ll tell u wats wrong, but you dont gotta get the work done there, i know there expensive, so go get parts that are faulty and replaice them, simple, ha ha.. good luck

Check engine light has to do with emissions. Start with checking your gas cap, is it on right? Then put in a good fuel system cleaner in the gas tank. If that doesn't turn the light off get it scanned. When was your last tune up and oil change? Get the brakes and suspension checked.

its simple you can get it check for free at any autozone or orielly auto stores. they will plug in an obd2 connector and link it with your cars computer and retrieve the code. that will tell your excactly what the problem is. it could be anything from sensors to belts. tension. get it checked first.
