you can add a cheap intake, lighter flywheel, a honda fit has a weak engine so u wont get much power out of it

K&N air filter-less than $60. Up to %5 more power and better fuel economy.Air Intake-Adds 10-30HP depending on the one you buy.Even better sparkplugs, preferably Bosch. Adds 1HP.Premium gas for your car adds up to 5HP.

All the ignorants who put down Japanese vehicles, remember that General Motors market share has been shrinking, as American buyers wise up. On the other hand, Toyota is poised to become the world largest automaker before too long. So go ahead, sport that toothless smile and your mullet. Toyota will get the last laugh.

they have dryflow filters now.... they don't need oil. If you get AEM or K&N you'll be fine they have the best filters you can get. They won't add much hp. 5hp, more if you have other modifications. The best setup for you would be I/H/E = intake, header, exhaust. helps the car breath better and throttle response is amazing. Go with name brands though no ebay knock off's....... I dunno how much hp the fit has stock prolly something like 130? if you go I/H/E it'll add 15-30 hp.Most japanese cars are real light which is the key. 200hp in a civic will do just as much damage as a 400hp chevell. Plus way less gas and problems :P

get an AEM cold air intake. getter gas mileage. lets you car breath better. don't mess with headers, not worth the $300-500. its hard to get that decent performance with out droping some $$. unless you go turbo, but that's $3000. biggest bang for your buck.

once u got the air-filter and the exhaust installed look for 'piggyback computers' i would recommend the one from 'APEXi V-AFC or APEXi AFC-Neo'.. this tiny gadjet tunes your factory fuel setting to maximise power and also to set the vtec cams opens earlier..you can feel instant acceleration..and this 3 stuff doesnt cost that much..
