They are both equally good. The differences really lie in how the car drives. Toyotas are generally more comfort oriented. A Camry will feel a bit more squishy. The Accord is a little stiffer and more sport oriented. They are both equally well built and equally reliable. Although the Accord has made it onto Car and Drivers 10 best list for something like 18 years in a row. Perhaps they prefer cars with a more sporty feel.

Both build a nice product, and both are WAY over priced. If you want the same quality, a better warranty, and more bang for your buck --- Look at Hyundai

honda and toyota both have pros and cons like honda has a better resale value but toyota has better looks. It depends on your preference and your style and budget and what you need it for.

The answer may be in the companies philosophies. Honda is an engineering company that sells cars. Toyota is a marketing company that makes products to fit the market niches. Both are very successful at what they do. Because Toyota is a marketing company they generally get better marks for styling and they always have a product in every profitable category. Both companies have an excellent handle on emerging technologies and good strategies for the Hybrid and Blu-tec diesel market expansions. Honda has a stronger "green" focus than Toyota but both are far ahead of the US in their thinking. Honda is much more conservative in styling and they are very customer-centric. Honda has the highest resale values. If you're looking for long term reliability, look at the cars on the road that are over 10 years old. You'll see a fleet of Hondas, half as many toyotas and few if any Nissans. If you're looking for great value, Honda is replacing the Accord in lat summer with the 2008 and the now have tremendous lease deals on the 2007 models. Honda prices otherwise don't fluctuate with the customer incentives or the money that the manufacturers give to dealers. Toyota has a greater involvement in incentives because their focus is on volume.Based on the market and reliability studies, its a toss up. It all depends on what you want from the company that you want to do business with.

Buy a Hyundai and get the same or better quality for less. If you are not famillar take one for a test drive and you will be surprised. They are great cars and I would not be surprised if they become the biggest car company in the world soon. Year after year they benchmark for quality and the Japanese are taking them seriously now as they are sweeping awards with the car critics.

Both are great. all you have to look at if buying is body style, mpg, other than that they're both great buys. toyota camry's drives slightly smoother than the honda accords. Toyota has more option for trucks than honda, but the pilot is great
