Well first thing is to make sure it didn't fall off due to rust...if the mounts are rusted off then your almost out of luck, outside of having new mounts welded on.It should attach via 4-8 bolts, it should be very straight forward. If you need a step by step guide then go to your local parts shop and buy a repair manual and it should show you exactly how to do this.

As long as the mounts aren't rusted, then you should be able to just bolt it back on.

someone knocked it off? hmm I bet it fell off because its a rust bucket and you have a big fart can muffler and 4 10" subs shaking your car to pieces.
