what kind of Acura engine do I put in my Honda Civic?

Normal swaps include the B-series swap which are done widely due to the east of availability and the aftermarket support. The B Series Family of engines range from a 1.6L to a 2.0L. There are some civics with H-22/H-23 swaps and these days there is a craze for K-Series swaps. I would recommend just a B-Series for the east of installation.

i'm not entirely sure, but i think you can put a v-tec in a civic, it's also not the hardest engine to hook up.

Any B series motor will fit right in any civic 92-00. The best bang for your buck is thr b18c1. The entire swap will run you around 3200. Type-R will run around 5000. I would go gsr

if you have the money and the know-how go for the k-series engine if not you can't go wrong with a vtec b-series engine.
