Default did my guy get a good deal on this car?

a 1989 honda accord for 1900, lots of miles but was in the care of a mechanical family. My parents say he was dumb,he says its a very dependable car -he took it into sears because it needed alignment and new front tires-about 400 more bucks, and they said it looked like a good car.

you got a smart guy, should probably marry him before your damned parents find you a special olympian, the 86-90 accords are EXTRA great cars, better mileage, better looks(personal thing, i know)more durable parts, less of the very expensive electronics. all around great cars, fun to drive too.

Honda's are known for great transportation and are very reliable out to 300 or 400 thousand miles.... outside of the vehicle may not be good but the motor will last forever...

Yeah that's a little too much for that car.

My opinion on Honda Accord is I've always heard that it is a quality car. If you get a decent car for 1900, it may not be perfect, but if it drives then you got a deal.

it was a little steep but over all not a real bad deal. Hondas are awesome cars so it was worth it to pay a little more for something that will probaly give your money right back to you but not using it at the gas pumps. It was also worth it to get new tires and alignment , giving up 400 and saving a whole world of trouble, I say you got a good dude on your hands here girl.

well, if it has 100,000+ miles you got screwed. that is way too much for that car. you just paid $2300 for an 18 yr old car.I bought a 96 geo prizm on ebay for $1400. It had 115,000 miles, new tires, new brakes, and was in great shape. Ive owned it for 3 years and have had to replace the battery and starter solenoid.$23001995 accord http://orlando.craigslist.org/car/296126056.html
