On my 2007 Civic Coupe I figured out how to get the glove box to drop down, which was simple, but is there a trick to get the tray with the cabin filter out? The tray doesn't seem to just pull out so I am wondering what I am doing wrong? Also, the Air Cleaner cover in the engine compartment has some obvious clips that get undone to get the cover off, but undoing the clips does not seem to allow the air cleaner cover to lift off so what else needs to be done to lift the cover off in order to replace the air cleaner? Thank you!

The cabin filter is two pieces and they both have to be removed simultaneously. Also, there is a cover on the box holding the filters in place. It slides down and is easy to remove. Sometimes they can be kinda sticky, so pull harder. The engine air cleaner has two or three 10mm bolts keeping it secure, but they also can be removed with a phillips head screwdriver. If your car is an '07, you don't need to change the cabin air filter yet. It's good to 60,000 miles or 4 years. It's not like the filter in your house, It's more like the engine air filter, just it doesn't get as dirty as quickly.
