the fuel filter should always be the first thing that goes bad and should be replace about every 50,000miles after that its a toss up between the fuel injectors and the fuel pump as to what will fail first

The relay is more common, so that will go first, fuel pumps do go, but the relay will before the pump does in most cases.

the main relay usually fails on that vintage vehicle when the interior temperature of the vehicle is high as happens when the car is parked in the sun all day. The circuit board of the relay cracks and expands in the heat causing a no-start condition. open the doors and let the interior cool down and the car will usually start (I've seen vehicles that were towed in for no-start and they start right up because the tow truck driver left the window in the car down and vented the hot air.) If that's the case, change the main relay behind the glove box. I can't think of the last time I saw a bad fuel pump or filter on a Honda.hope that helps
