Default 98 honda lx?

sometimes the trans. shifts perfect but at other times there is no reverse and it downshifts for no reason and goes into second gear and will not upshift past that. thank you

do you gun it alot??? do you have a lead foot?? it usually happens when you floor it alot....but all in all, i think you need a new tranny...... thats why i love stick shift... you control everything...
