I would stick to no more than a 2inch drop.....I would also suggest you use progressive springs as this can smooth your ride out substantially. Gas struts will make your ride firmer....Leave the stock ones on and change your sway bar links to urethane ones....this should give you the handling and control you want.

Real lowering springs will give you a much better ride. The only advantage to coilovers is that you can raise the car if you need to drive it inthe winter. I changed from coilovers to Neuspeed race springs for my delsol and they were much better. They were not so jumpy, but handled way better too. I would highly reccomend Neuspeed for any Honda. The race springs gave me about a 2.5 - 3 in drop. They also make a sport spring that is about 1.5 or 2 in that mught be better for your accord. If you still have stock struts on your car you will need to replace those as well or you will have a real bouncy ride. KYB are the best strut for the money. YOu can find them for about $50 a strut. If you get stiffer springs like the race springs you may want to get Tokico Illumina adjustable struts. They are a lot more money, but worth it if you have the cash to spend. When I took the coilovers off my car I got these to go with the racfe springs and a full camber kit and now my car handles better than anything I have ever ridden in. Just keep in mind that this is a very stiff setup so it is real rough over bumps. The KYB and sport springs would be fine for a daily driver.

Alright, 95 accord with 17's...Firstly a 2 inch drop is definitly enough. You CANNOT do that with the coilovers and the stock shocks you have. Just go on ebay and buy KYB GR-2 shocks for like 200 for the set?? Then just but 150 springs on ebay, get a good brand like tein or skunk2.I guarantee if you continue driving the way you are, your shocks will blow and your gonna need new ones anyway. Also you cannot cheap out on springs. You must get a name brand because the springs they sell, are specifically designed for your car, like the spring rates. But I suggest Skunk 2(2.5front/2.25rear inch), or H&R (2.25front/2.0rear inch). Both are around 150 bucks on ebay. So your looking at 350 bucks, and 200 if you have someone install it. But its actually easy to do, just buy a HELMS manual and you can figure it out from the pictures. You will have it done in 2-3 hours probably.
