Default Is it possible in a 2004 Civic (automatic) when in "P" to shift to "R" WITHOUT pushing the...

...brake pedal. Even if the shifter is pushed really really really hard.

YES..You can do that without pushing the break pedal. When everyone learns to drive its a habit to push the break in. Its not good on the Transmission to not push the break so the habit is a good one and yes kids are known to get it from park to reverse without the break pushed in.

No. It's a Safety Feature. If it's Pushed "Really Hard" to the Point of Moving, something will Break ! It would be like moving the Steering Wheel with the Key out. It can be done, but something will Break.

You must press on brakes before shifting, it's a safety device built into all cars today. If you force it you will pay.

I think you need to reinforce your transmission, yet for the meanwhile use the parking brake.

What the heck are you thinking? you can only do that in a boat. Of course you can't shift like that, even in a stickshift that's a bad idea.
