Default What engine is in my car?
I have a 1995 Honda Civic EX sedan. I'm trying to figure out which engine I have so that it'll be easier to mod...can ayone help?

i THINK most honda have a 1.8 or 2.2 engine. if you call your insurance company too they should know from your vin number. good luck

somewhere under the hood there's a white sticker with emission and engine information. You either have a 1.5 or 1.6L motor. If you have V-Tech, you can add more mods to it. you're looking for an engine code like B1A.

The EX came with the D16Z6 1.6 LITER VTEC engine.

yes, all 1995 civic ex's came with the D16Z6 1.6 LITER VTEC engine. 127hp. very good motor. good luck

they did not all come with vtec... some have a 1.6 liter 4cyclinder in them...not all vtec though

No, ALL EXs came with vtec single cams. At least in the ole' U S of A they did.
