still stay the same? I'm thinking about swapping a JDM engine into a 97 Honda Prelude. I'm wanting a 97-01 Prelude type S JDM. Will the driver side still stay the same? Is there any major changes besides the engine?

I have a 2000 Lude, it shouldnt be a problem, i considered doing this also, but I opted to build up my h22a4 that is currently in it, If the transmission bolts up to the engine. The ecu has to compatible to that specific engine, exhaust for that specific engine. Its gonna pretty spendy tho dude

The drivers side will stay the same, the motor you are looking at is very expensive for the 20hp gain over the motor you currently have. I would recomend a cheap turbo kit if you are just looking for power. Another problem you may run into is that the ecu for the type-s is OBD1 and your car is OBD2, this can cause problems if you ever have to pass an emissions test.
