does the Honda Civic Hybrid really get the Gas Miles per Gallon the EPA estimates or what?

no it doesn't , i seen a show on this ,and a lot of people are really upset because they went out and bought these things thinking they was going to get some great mileage from them,and there not getting no where near what they are supposed to be getting,i wouldn't doubt that some people don't sue over this one,because there's a lot of pissed off people right now on these cars ,good luck,i hope this help,s.

On a trip from California to Texas I consistently got 35 mpg with the a/c on with my 2004 civic ex.

yes and hybrids in general (except those from GM for now) get close to and at times surpass their EPA estimates and (this is important) it varies on your driving style. If you drive conservatively and not like some race car driver you will definitely get very high mileage.

The EPA does an average of the gas mileage in their own testing area. It depends on where you live, where you drive, how long you drive, how often you drive, etc. It will sometimes be higher and sometimes lower than the EPA rating. They just do that to give you a general idea of what kind of gas mileage you can expect.
