Hmmm, maybe a weak fuel pump, maybe a catalytic converter that's damaged and not allowing proper flow, maybe fuel injectors, clogged air filter........

try running a compression check on it and make sure it has no valve problems ,i had one a while back that was doing this ,it turned out to have a burnt valve in it,strange for a Honda, but after i did a valve job on it ,it ran like a new one, that would be a good staring point on it,and go from there with it,good luck.

Ok, First off make sure you have honda spark plugs and wires. I have fixed so many misfires and poorly running hondas because of this. Make sure the ignition timing is set correctly.Second off, Check our fuel pressure while driving. It should be 34-41 psi at the service port with the regulator vacuum hose disconnected. Ive also had a couple accords with bad coils. Also check to make sure the timing belt is in time.Let me know if you have any more questions, im a 6 year factory honda tech.

Check timing....on this type of vehicle you have to ground the timing system to ensure it is on basic timing prior to adjusting. Vehicle manual shows the location of which wires pertain to the basic timing. If this doesn't work check your map sensor.
