Default I have a Honda Civic Hatchback and my stereo cuts out when I drive.?

I will just be driving along and all of a sudden my stereo just cuts out. It turns off for about 2 seconds and then turns back on and starts playing again. I don't know what could be causing this but I would like to fix the problem before it does any damage.Any suggestions as to what it could be?Thanks!

Probably a loose wire somewhere. Everytime you hit a bump, it loses connection, then you hit another bump and it comes back on. Get your boyfriend to get under the dash and take a look at the wiring. Also check the wiring at the speakers.

yeah definalty check your wires first, and if they all good, check fuses, and if they all good, check your battery for low power. I know my cousins accord was doing that and it ended up being that his battery only had power to turn his car on but not enought o keep the stereo going. Also check the fuse on the receiver itself.
