Default If a car were to have a V6, does that means that it has 6 cylinders?
I have a '95 Accord automatica transmission. For everyday driving, do I shift to D4 or D3? I normally use D4 because it is one step down from neutral.

D4 includes the overdrive which is fine for everydayD3 is if you want to not use overdrive like hauling a trailer or under a load up a hill..

Yes, V6 is 6 cylinders and V8 is 8 cylinders. Either D4 or D3 is ok, but D4 is "overdrive" and gets you better gas mileage on the highway.

Yes it's V6 and the cylinders are positioned in shape of a V unlike straight 6.And use D4.

The V in V6 is in reference tothe shape of the engine block. Some engines are in a straight configuration, but still have 6 cyenders, like in a large truck (diesel).

Yes D4. Yes, its a V engine with 6 cylinder. Its the second most common engine configuration after the inline four.

d3 is for most town driveing and d4 is really over drive used mostly on highways or were speeds can remain above 45 miles an hour
