i think they do just screw on and off on those,you can try and see it wont hurt it if it doesn't come off,but i think all those come off like that ,good luck.

I have a 97 LX and had an 88 LX. that crome strip cut my index finger, drat. leather covered, drop the leather cover to check. should be able to see http://www.conceptualpolymer.com/prod01.htm hope this helps a little. maybe a visit to a junk yard would too
