Default What is the differences between 2000 Civic EX and SI ?

What is the differences between 2000 Civic EX and Si?I only know EX use D18Y1 engine, Si use B16A2 engine, Besides engines, anything different ? like tuning, brake......What is civic Type R, Type S and Muguen?Which supposed to be faster in order?Which supposed to be more gas efficient in order ?Which one is faster, Type R or Si? Why ? Like what are their differences?Thank youActually I don't know which car should I buy?I'm a college student that need a car daily plus want a little fun to drive sometime.I'm wondering should I buy a EX then swap the engine to B16A2 or even K20, tune the car and make it just like the Si. Will that be cheaper?I know if I bought a Si, I'll probably leave everything in stock coz it's fun to drive plus it's totally fast enough for a college student to show off. (a Civic is a Civic, it can never compare to a Mustang)

a si is more powerul and faster, SI comes with a better suspension and brakes, A type R is way faster then A SI, i think a type R has a k20 like the new civic si's do

The EX is a 1.6 not a 1.8. That year SI didn't come in a 4 door and is only a manual. The SI makes 160hp and the ex makes about 127hp. The Si has tighter suspension and a limited slip differential. The civic type r is a 185hp more aggressive version of the Si. Type s is for acuras. Mugen is a company that makes parts for hondas. In order of speed by acceleration (slowest to fastest): civic si(b16a2) , civic type-r, integra type-r(b18c5), rsx type-s(k20a2). They are all get great gas mileage but of course the faster they get usually the less mileage they achieve.
