Default how do you turn off maintance required light in 1999 honda accord?

my light is on and i dont know the code to turn it off. Any help would be apprecaited. Thanks

go to a parts store they have code readers at like autozone pepboys and other they can help u and read the code tell you whats wrong or u can disconnect the battery it will turn off the light but if it comes back on u need to see whats wrong with it a code reader will tell u u dont have to buy them if u go to the parts stores they have some to use there they mostly will do it for u

you stick your key in tha little slot in ur odometer and it will back greenfastaccord? wha u got man???

yeah do that if you have a slot to put the key in, but if you don't then try push and hold the select/reset or tripdometer button in and turn the key to on position for a few sec, the light should go off.

99 accords dont have a slot to rest them what u do is with your key in the ingition and off mash the trip reset button on your dash and hold it then turn your key on but dont start it...watch the light when it goes out let off of the button turn your key off and there u go your reset!
