ebay would be a good way to go. engines are way underpriced there. you know, compared to a dealership. one from a legend might work; however, acura legend is the same base car as THE ACCORD not prelude. Although, the engine compartments in each are just about the same anyway.

There are no v6 engines that will fit in your car without serious work. Your car is set up for b series 4cyl engines. It has the b21 in it now. Simply put it would be thousands cheaper to buy something with a v6 already in it.

V6 engines will not fit in your car. You may be able to upgrade but not to a V6.

I have the same exact car. You will never be able to fit a v6 in there. The best route that you can go for more power and still fit in the engine bay barely is the H22. It has been done numerous times, but you will have to spend about $3k-4k. With that said, the cheapest route to go is getting a JDM B20A for our 3g. Not the B20A for 3g accords/vigors, or a crv B20b/z. A B20A engine is about $600-700 shipped if you can find one nowadays. If not you can always get a junkyard engine and rebuild it. You will most likely find a b20a5, which you can still use. Just make sure you use your intake and exhuast manifolds with either engine you choose. This way the engine is compatible with the ecu. With the JDM engine you HAVE to use your original intake manifold because JDM engines have no egr's and you'll fail emissions. Check out http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...p?t=211212Lots of good stuff for 3g owners
