Default My 1987 Honda CRX Runs Very Rough When I First Start It Up?
After I drive it a while it runs alot better It will barely go ten miles an hour until it warms up

it is probly ur transmission just let it warm up before u go anywhere u might also check ur transmission fluid levels i had a friend with a car that had the same problem the transmission might be almost gone have it checked out

old school your problem sounds on the edge of being serious. Without doing an inspection I would guess transmission problems . I would start by having a reliable transmission SHOP do an evaluation .. Please note most dealers farm transmission work out . this is a specialty field .. Good Luck ..

When was the last time you have changed the oil? I recommend using Honda Synthetic oil or Vavoline. It could also have to do with your rpm not being stable, but I would have to look at it, just try the oil.

Is it fuel injected or carbed?(if carbed could be a carb problem)Auto or stick?(stick won't affect it)does it smoke when you start it?is it skipping?(if so and is smoking on start up could be valve seals they leak oil when engine is cold)
