with lil money?? my accord is a jdm sohc non vtec. my buddy has a 98 civic d16y8 sohc vtec, can i make my car beat him or hang with him its a automatic.. his is a stick. wat all can i do cheap that will make it fast. my buddy with the d16 used to have the same accord, but it was nice lowered rims exhaust, header, intake, msd wires. his d16 has all the same and a ecu upgrade.. can i beat him on low money?? or any money!!!

You have a heavier car with a weaker motor and slower transmission. You are going to have to spend at least a grand or so on air intake, header, pulleys, and exhaust to beat him..maybe

just save up for a h22a vtec and slap it in... i beleive that you can use a f22 tranny stick or auto and just change the ecu... the old demensional one eg ran an automatic h22 turbo and had ets at 11 seconds... i wouldnt try to buy an intake or bolt ons... not worth it ... it's notgoing to do much... well atleast with the f22...... check out www.honda-tech.com for better answers
