DX (deluxe?) basic with minimal standard optionsLX (luxury?) a step up from DX, has options as standard that were extra on DX.EX (extreme?) top of line, most options included as standard.Si is only on certain models and I believe it indicates Sports model. These are listed in order of cost. This is only my assumption, I am not an expert, just my observations from years of experience. Noticed no one was responding to the question and thought I'd give the offering.

DX- base model no power anything and a cheap radio with 2 speakers cloth seats / LX- power windows and a panisonic with 2 to 4 speakers cloth seats a moon roof on a select few / LX-i 80's models only had fuel injection and moon roof was standard / SE- all power an alpine w/4-6 speakers leather seats moon roof and you could order a remote access radar detecter and for a few hundred more you could get the gold package [ gold lettering and emblems ]. EX- The most luxurey you could get standard a Honda You got the honda 3000 radio with a cd changer with plenty of speakers all leather moon roof and remote access radar detecter special rims they were actually put together better / SI- they varied but you could count on them having the best suspension and power plants. I am partial to the 88 to 90 CRX SI's. They would really boogie and handle great.
