would not move. I can I have a 2006 Honda CRV Automatic - when I tried to put it into 2 gear, gear, the shift would not move. I can only drive it in Drive (1st).

Im not quite sure i understand the problem correctly, but if you mean that you can only put it in the main drive gear, but not the other lower speed gears, the problem could be your transmission has a lock that you have to turn to have your low speed gears available, or there is a button on your gearshift somewhere to let the gearshift move down into those gears. Check your owners manual

it is a new vehicle and it is still undre warranty

I have a similar issue...I can't shift from D to D2 or D1

Park, Reverse, and Drive are ok.

Have you remedied the problem?
